Note also a few parked cars but bulk of population uses bicycles or scooters as seen in this image. Another image shows how the people park their downtown bicycles that are used after arrival on train..train station and storage area will be uploaded soom

The pond is within a park in Amsterdam the Netherlands where several museums are located included Van Gogh museum where we photographed a few hanging portraits but visited only one level. A full day is needed to visit the museum but we did not have the energy.

Most cyclist have a bike to their train station near their home and upon arrive pick up their second bike to go to work and back to the train station at end of workday. Must be a hefty fee for parking the bicycles as bicycles are parked everywhere you look in Amsterdam.
