  • DSC00201-1 <br /> When on a Holland American cruise the ship's seminar tech guru suggested taking a picture of location and excursion which I have been doing ever since. The<br /> day before leaving the ship for a scheduled excursion an image describing excursion was taken as the Olympus had no GPS. Although I expect to use Sony's gps, I will continue this practice, except using photo of computer screen rather than an excursion brochure.- that I can crop and adjust the snapshot later. In this case the exercise is to test maximum legible content on a MS Word Window to illustrate with the first frame and practice taking the photo at 90 degrees to avoid the skew affect. Note that the bottom seems reasonably horizontal while the larger font for titles seem skewed downward. This is the reason I need practice..
  • by hand unlevel - should have used a tripod.

  • DSC00179.First photo of slide was taken with arms braced on counter. Others that followed were attempts to get slides in frame with a "steady hand?" Here is where a tripod would have been useful.

  • DSC00172<br /> This summary slide is type of info that I normally focus on in a lecture with slides. Useful info even though I anticipate slide show to be available on quest web site. On other seminars taking a photo of key points of slide show is faster than taking notes..: )
