  • LETMEIN - "me first" driver.<br /> I35 TRAFFIC ON SATURDAY..Note the wide gap in front of us? Notice that we are in right hand turn lane about to exit soon. What would you bet that the drivers in that lane will squeeze in the trough traffic lane before the driver has to exit? What is the problem with drivers who cannot stay tn the through traffic lane like eveyrone else?

  • Where are we? well, smugmug provides no metadata but the original image showed 11/2/12 at 5:59pm. Let me think..that was Friday afternoon driving North on Lamar. Off in the distance is the traffic signal before 26th street. Of course you are aware how traffic is on I35 and Mopac?

They have to wait for the cyclist to approach their lane --whatever that is--One of these days we will be able to get a photo of those guys turning left. (We are heading North on South Congress approaching overpass at Ben White Blvd. Yes we are making a point to avoid I35 and Mopac (metadata 11/2/12 @12:34 pm.) At least we documented the price of gasoline on that day.

When zooming in on that spot, I do not see a power line..as you would expect this to be one of those golden globes on power lines...

Recently police ticked drivers on 2222/620 for doing just that. So is driving on the shoulder illegal? <em>Yup!</em> (FYI: This line of cars is backed up on E. Parmer Ln & Daussau Road as we were heading back home after a round of golf at ShadowGlen.)<br> Question that pops into our head is, <br />Why is this driver in such a hurry that he cannot wait to take the proper lane? <br />Does he actually realize that he is not in the left turn lane?<br /> These questions pop into your head when you see this happen.</b>
  • MAYICHANGELANES? 10:27 AT 2:13 PM While heading East on Palmar Land and Mopac overpass this guy decided he needed to turn left at the next traffic signal. Of course we let him in. Hmm! I wonder if we tried that would the other guy let us in? Tell me - did the driver make a late decision to get into left turn lane, lack of attention or was the line behind us too long for the driver to get into the queue to turn left, or is this guy new to Austin!
